The new Kingsway is a compact, floor-standing loudspeaker with a stunning, real wood, Italian veneer finish. It boasts four modified Eikona drivers – two front-facing and two rear-facing – all running full-range. The front pair provide imaging and focus, while the rear drivers couple the Kingsway to the room, creating a sense of space and depth.
The wide-baffle, bipole configuration offers several benefits. Firstly, it delivers incredibly realistic sound, transporting you to a concert hall within your own space. This is achieved through the multiple drivers, which provide ease, power, and lower distortion.
The enclosure is a thin-wall, critically damped cabinet, similar to the Marlow and Greenwich models. The exclusive veneer is dual-layered, providing extra damping, increased strength, and allowing a slight bevel at the edges. Each pair of Kingsways is custom-built, and customers can specify the veneer at the time of ordering.
The Kingsways includes a detachable, matching plinth and special decoupling feet. Grilles are provided, and connectors can be specified as Speakon or Tom Evans pure copper binding posts.
The Kingsway was constructed as a reference speaker for our use but we invite enquiries.

The Kingsway has been demonstrated at the 2024 UK Audio Show and the Edinburgh Hi-AV Show and at Hi-Fi Live at Ascot in 2025. Here is a selection of visitor comments:
StereoNet UK – “Loved how they sounded.”
Audite Acoustics – “One of the best rooms at the show!”
“I just had to come back and listen again – I’ve been all round the Show but the sound of these just wouldn’t let me go.”
The Ear – “These tall and slim floorstanders perhaps lacked a little bass slam compared to some alternatives at the price point but made up for it with a sound that was particularly transparent, open, detailed and capable of filling the room. This system produced music which sounded attractive and involving even at low volume levels.”
“These sound very nice. Lovely sense of scale. I know it’s a much overused word but they really do sound musical. I can’t define it but they’ve really got something I like, they sound natural.”
The Scotsman – “A very big soundstage, holographic. A very unusual design. It’s a difficult room but they work very well.”
“These are the best speakers I’ve heard here. They’re beautiful. I’m really stunned by them – their sound and the engineering.”
“These are amazing, they have such a wide sound. I’m not very old but these are the best speakers I’ve ever heard.”
French audio blogger – “Now that is true high fidelity”
“Whoever designed these definitely likes classical music.”
“Realistic piano music is really hard to do but these speakers do it really well.”
Primare Audio – “The sound is sublime.”
